I completed my MPhil in Chemistry (Biochemistry as major) in 2006 from GC University, Lahore, Pakistan and then worked as Lecturer/ Research Officer at Centre of Excellence in Molecular Biology, University of the Punjab, Lahore for more than four years before pursuing my PhD here at UQ. Currently, I am working with Dr Paul Ebert as my Principle Investigator and Dr Jurgen Goetz as my Co-PI.We are working on role of energy metabolism in modulation of Alzheimer's disease pathogenesis using C. elegans as model system.
