- This delegate is presenting an abstract at this event.
I have completed my bachelor and master of Science in biology at the University of Leuven (Belgium). During my masters I developed a keen interest in applying genetic/genomic tools to wildlife management. For my master dissertation I have worked within a large EU funded project in which we investigated the feasibility of using SNPs to determine the source of aquaculture escapees. At the moment I am a PhD student at the Institute for Applied Ecology (University of Canberra) and I am working on developing environmental DNA based tools which would assist in the management of native and invasive fish species
